Asalaamu alaikum rhamatullah wa barakatu,
Okay so for sewing, for your older daughters (and sons if they enjoy it), can use a sharp needle inshaAllah, but what do you do for the younger ones? You use a plastic needle and yarn insha’Allah.
If you wanted to, you could get one of those beginners weaving/knitting/sewing kits or you could just go ahead and use a plastic needle, a peice of yarn and anything else you want to sew through such as buttons, cut pieces of straws, burlap, etc.
Here is an activity your daughter or even your son can have fun with to learn to sew and weave… good for hand eye coordination inshaAllah. Once finished, you could use it as a mini prayer mat for magnets, a mini prayer mat for a doll house, or a coaster for your tea inshaAllah!
Yes I know I am posting a lot masha’Allah, i am trying to make up for the past five days insha’Allah.
